Refund policy

Our promise
EverVows is funded by its members, and we treat every payment as a covenant of trust. If something went wrong with a charge, we want to make it right. This policy explains when and how we refund Premium subscriptions and Library ebook purchases, both billed in USD through Stripe.
Premium subscriptions
Premium ($9.99/month or $99.90/year) renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your subscription page, and your premium features remain active until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancellation stops all future charges; it does not by itself refund a period already served.
- First payment: if you are new to Premium and request a refund within 14 days of your first charge, we will refund it in full.
- Renewal charges: if you cancelled but were still charged for a renewal, we refund that charge in full.
- Duplicates and billing errors: if you were charged twice or in the wrong amount, we refund the excess in full.
- Voluntary cancellation after the 14-day window: no refund for the current period, since premium features were available to you throughout it.
Library ebooks
Library titles are one-time purchases of $9.99 each, delivered as digital downloads. If your download fails, the file is corrupted, or the content materially differs from the summary shown before purchase, tell us within 14 days and we will refund the purchase in full or restore working access, whichever you prefer. Because an ebook is delivered immediately and is yours to keep, purchases that downloaded correctly are otherwise final.
How to request a refund
Email hello@evervows.net from the address on your EverVows account, or write to us through the contact page. Include your account email, the date and amount of the charge, and a short description of what went wrong. We answer every request within 3 business days and, where a refund applies, submit it to Stripe right away. Stripe returns the funds to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
Partial periods and proration
We do not prorate refunds for partially used months or years. If a longer period was charged in error, we refund the unexpired portion or the full amount, whichever leaves you better off.
Account actions
If an account is suspended or removed for violating our Terms of Use — for example harassment, deception, or misuse of the platform — payments already made are not refunded, and the member remains responsible for charges incurred before suspension.
Before disputing a charge
If you do not recognize a charge or disagree with an outcome, please contact us before filing a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve it faster than a chargeback process, and it keeps your account in good standing. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory consumer rights, which always apply in full.
